An experienced attorney, dedicated public servant, and compassionate leader, Taylor Bachelor has spent over sixteen years advocating for justice and fairness in the courtroom. With a distinguished career spanning prosecution, defense, and judicial roles, she brings a well-rounded perspective to the bench.

Taylor's legal journey began with an undergraduate degree from Tennessee State University, followed by law school at the University of Memphis. She later pursued further studies at Memphis Theological Seminary, reinforcing her commitment to faith-based service and ethical leadership.

Beyond her legal career, Taylor and her husband, Dr. Samuel Bachelor, are proud foster parents, with the dream of adopting their little girl. Her deep ties to the community include serving as a trustee at St. Paul Baptist Church and supporting numerous organizations like the Shelby County Drug Court Foundation, Women United for United Way of the Mid-South, and the Ben F. Jones Chapter of the National Bar Association.
